We dont see the whole story here, but blowing away someone running with their hands up is not justified. From what I saw, that much blood coming out that fast means that man is dead and soon.    This is an example of, at least on its face, police murder or incredibly bad judgment. It’s not something to laud police for.

   Is it?

   Apparently there are crooks holding a bunch of hostages in that building. The kid that gets shot (a student) was one of the hostages escaping but the cop, in his haste, figured it was one of the bad guys making a break for it and THAT was the result.

   I don’t remember if it said what kind of building it was… a bank (robbery) or a college (political protest).. but it definitely said the victim was a student. As for where…. Philippines, I think (It’s been a long time since I read it). Of course…. it could be a load of bollocks.. but that’s the only explanation I’ve ever seen.

   how do you know it’s from brazil? They looked asian to me. Could have been Phillipines. they have a lot of words in their language derived from spanish. A lot of their language is a mix of spanish from colonial rule and the original native language.
