Here’s an excellent example of pit maneuver by police vehicle. Excellent driving technique.

  1. I apologize for the silly question, but what’s the thing on the hood of the patrol car?

  2. To be honest – I don’t know. May be flamethrower? :) It would be nice if police cars could be equipped with ones. Nice help during chase and dasboard video would be even more exciting :) )))

  3. At first I thought it could be a part of the battering ram/bumper (sorry don’t know the correct word, we don’t have these here in germany) but it seems to be too much on the top of the hood..

  4. The thing on the hood is a sign that says STOP. It is a Michigan State Trooper chasing the offender. The sign is a tradition that comes from back in the old days.

  5. Thank you for the information…

  6. HAHA Pain Man~!!!!!!!!!!!!
    CHEESE!!!~!!!!:)

  7. Terrible PIT, the SUV stayed in contact with the police vehicle the whole time, and it was hit in the middle, not on the back corner.

  8. The Michigan State Police have a lighted sign on the hood that used to be used for side stops back in the day before overhead lights were in use. MSP maintains the STOP sign out of tradition the same as it keeps the single red oscillating overhead that is powered with 200 watt airplane bulbs.

  9. YEA..STUPID WHITE PIECE OF SHIT..NOW IF THIS WAS A BLACK GUY..THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT RACIST COMMENTS..NOW THAT A DUMBASS HONKEY DOES SOMETHING..YOU CAN SEE THAT “WE” ARENT ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE YOU DUMB WHITE FUCKS
